What began as a collaboration between AI expertise and sustainability knowledge became a paradigm shift in ESG reporting. Sustainability has evolved from voluntary goodwill to strategic necessity. New regulations like CSRD and TSRS make sustainability reporting mandatory with specific guidelines. However, only 6% of Turkish industrial organisations publish reports.mMAP360, a sustainability intelligence company with 15+ years of experience and over 750 reports delivered, recognised this crisis. Costs were prohibitive, ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, and required over 650 working hours in the first year. The market faced four fundamental challenges: cost barriers, framework confusion, data collection difficulties, and evolving stakeholder expectations.
Rather than building another generic AI text generator, we spent extensive time understanding sustainability reporting complexity. Our analysis revealed:
